Brief overview:
The Berlingot Pizza Knife is a knife from the Berlingot collection by CLAUDE DOZORME, specially designed for pizza (and similar pastries with rich toppings and strong dough).

Features in detail:

  • Blade: Made of high-quality X46Cr13 stainless steel (approx. 0.46% carbon, 13% chromium).

  • Hardness: Rockwell hardness of approximately 54-56 HRC.

  • Blade shape: Slightly curved shape that allows pizza cutting to be carried out cleanly and without tearing the dough.

  • Additional details:

    • Micro-serration (hand-toothed) for better cutting of plaque.

    • Cutouts/perforations in the blade that form the word "Pizza" prevent toppings from sticking and provide a decorative effect.

  • Handle material: Available in various options – e.g. colored resin handle (mithacrylate) or wooden handles.

  • Length & Dimensions: Total length approx. 8.07″ (~20.5 cm).

  • Dishwasher safe (with certain handle materials, e.g. resin handle) up to approx. 55 °C – however, hand washing is often recommended. Production: Entirely made in France, in the historic workshop of CLAUDE DOZORME in Thiers.

Advantages for the user:

  • Clean and elegant cutting performance, especially for pizzas with thicker dough and rich toppings.

  • Stylish design that can be used at the table – not just as a kitchen tool, but as part of the table setting.

  • Wide selection of colours and handles – individually tailored to match the kitchen decor or the user's style.

  • The brand value of “Made in France” and the quality of craftsmanship convince discerning customers.

Care instructions:
Please clean carefully after use and dry thoroughly immediately. Hand washing is recommended for wooden handles. Avoid prolonged soaking. Resin handles may be dishwasher safe up to approximately 55°C – however, always refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
