The Bergamot N.46 soap combines the fresh citrus note of bergamot with a touch of floral elegance.
Enriched with organic shea butter, it gently cares for the skin and provides a smooth, hydrated skin feeling.
The natural dye CI 77492 gives the soap its warm, sunny hue.
Note: Contains natural fragrance components such as limonene, linalool and geraniol – these may cause allergic reactions in sensitive skin.
Like all SoapYard soaps, this one is also:
– Paraben-free
– Vegan
– Animal testing-free
– Made from plant-based ingredients
SoapYard soaps are handmade by artisans in the Marseille region of southern France – according to traditional recipes of Provençal plant-based savonettes.
The soaps are also enriched with organic shea butter, a natural moisturizer that creates a creamy, nourishing lather.
The soaps are milled three times, removing excess water and air. The result is a solid, luxurious-looking soap that doesn't soften and lasts an exceptionally long time.
The fragrances used in our soaps come from near Grasse in Provence – known worldwide as the perfume capital.
More about Soapyard soaps
All Soapyard soaps are handmade in a small, family-run artisan soap factory in the Marseille region of Provence, France, using traditional plant-based recipes.
The soaps can be used in different ways:
As a classic soap on a rope
Using a wall magnet
Or as a round hand soap in a soap dish.
The characteristic hole in the center – typical of all our custom-made soap bars – allows for use with a practical, replaceable rope. This ensures the soap can be stored hygienically and dry between uses.
If you choose a colored rope, the color may differ from the photo. The included rope is a hand-sealed paracord that is easily replaceable – allowing you to create individual, colorful combinations of soap and rope. The cord can also be reused with a new bar of soap or repurposed.
Nourishing ingredients
Our soaps contain organic shea butter , known for its moisturizing and protective properties. It reduces the drying effect that can occur with some industrially produced soaps. Shea butter is extracted from the fruit of the shea tree and makes the lather creamy and particularly gentle on the skin – perfect for daily use.
Traditional quality
The soaps are triple-milled , removing excess water and air. The result is a solid, long-lasting bar of soap that feels luxurious and won't become mushy. Each soap is a handmade, unique piece – minor variations in color or shape are normal and depend on temperature, light, and humidity.
All Soapyard soaps are:
Free from parabens and synthetic fragrances
Vegan , without animal fats or genetically modified ingredients
Animal testing-free
detergent and palm oil free
The fragrances come from near Grasse – the world capital of perfume – in Provence.
Care instructions
As with all natural products, each piece may vary slightly. Be sure to store the soap in a dry place after use – do not leave it in water or place it on damp surfaces.
If cracks appear in the soap, this is simply due to escaping moisture – just rub it under water, and the soap will become smooth again. Small scraps can even be melted down and reshaped (please only do this with proper instructions!).
Paracord rope
The enclosed rope is a flame-sealed PPM paracord (also known as parachute rope, sailing rope or nautical rope).
PPM is lightweight, dries quickly, hardly absorbs dirt, does not mold and feels pleasant in the hand – ideal for use in the bathroom!
Made from nylon
OEKO-TEX® certified – safe for humans and animals
Origin: USA or EU
Washable at max. 30°C in the washing machine.
There are numerous tutorials on YouTube on how to cut, seal, or creatively reuse paracord – for example, as a bracelet, dog leash, or clothesline.
Disclaimer:
We supply paracord with raw, sealed edges , but we accept no liability for any modifications to the rope. Should the end fray or the rope become too long, it can simply be cut to size and sealed with a flame – please always observe safety instructions.
The rope is a sustainable zero-waste product – durable, reusable and versatile.
